Help on Flies for the Caney

Does anyone have any suggestions on the size and color scuds and sow bugs to use on the Caney? I will be making an afternoon trip tomorrow and would like to give these flies a shot. Thanks for an

Skipjack, I use a scud tied with gray seal substitute with olive thread to give a little greenish tint. Sizes 16 and 18 tied on a Teimco 2487 hook. Silvercreek

That's a great nymph to use. The White River in Arkansas has lots of scuds in the river. I would add some translucent shell back on the back tied similar to a Czech nymph on a scud hook. Its deadly.
