Hugh-

Happy Birthday to you, and may you have many, many more to come.

We've had some great times fishing together on the E. TN waters. Love your fly tying instructions, and now your videos are progressing nicely. Keep at it, we enjoy them.

Thanks

Bill

I'm a Johnny-Come-Lately to this flyfishing community, but I've already been suitably impressed by what I've heard, read, and seen for myself regarding you Mr. Hartsell, and am looking forward to signing up for one of your classes or at least a guided day trip sometime this coming spring. In the meantime, please accept my sincere wish for you to have a Happy Birthday, and many more to come.

Best regards,
Stan Starkey

Fellas,
Let me thank all of you for the kind birthday thoughts. It's great to be a part of the flyfishing community and to be able to share the experiences that we have on the stream. Your encouragement and best wishes mean a lot to this East Tennessee guide. It's even more meaningful when you see a person having success after you have spent the day with them and shared some guidance. The younger ones of you that I have gotten to know will just be an extension of any thing that I have passed on to you and many people out in the future will benefit from your teaching and passing the word along to others down the road. My hope is that the new year is a great one for all of you.

PeeWee,
I am liking the looks of some of those flies you've been posting. Will you teach me how to tie flies like that?
Thanks to all of you for the good wishes for a great Birthday. My wife even took me to see True Grit last night. It was a great night out.
