Hope everyone can get out a little more this month and get into some fish...

I don't know how much I'll get out but thankfully got out this past Sunday with David Perry (http://southeasternfly.blogspot.com/) to float the Caney. What a great way to kick off the new year! Lots of nice fish caught and landed including this rainbow on a streamer...

It was cool, but the redfish were willing in spite of me. I cuaght this nice on 1/16/2011 on one of my purple mud minnow patterns.

Wow, I hate posting this little dink after that nice fish of yours Buzz. However, I made the most of the high water and cold temps, so the few fish I caught made it a rewarding trip.
