Orlando in May

Just booked our 2011 vacations, and in addition to another trip back to Durango, CO we will be taking the little guy to Disney. We will be staying in the Bonnet Creek area, and I am planning on taking my 8-wt along for some bass action.

I have been looking at maps, and there are dozens of small lakes in the area. However, they all look to be in residential areas, and I imagine access could be a problem. Does anybody have any advice for some lakes I should look at? The presence of a nearby canoe/kayak rental office would be a plus.

There are a lot of lakes in the orlando area. Most are private but there are a few that you can fish on.

these guys can help you find some places to go and they have a huge bass fly selection. Everything needs to be weedless, otherwise you will lose a lot of flies.

I'm going to be there next weekend, so I've done a little research. Turns out I'm not going to have time to fish. Here's a list of boat rentals I found. I'm going to stop by their shop while I'm there. I'll try to get some info for you.
