Tremont, again.

Spent 1/2 day looking for Jack's glasses. No luck. Since we were way up the gravel road decided to refish Tremont. Caught all rainbows. No browns. Jross I am so jealous!! Most hit dry flies which surprised me with the colder weather and cloudy. Who can figure fish?? We had fried rainbows for supper, yummy good!

Forgot to say that when I gutted one of the rainbow its stomach was bulging. Decided to autopsy and what do you think he had been eating? Stoneflies? Mayflies? Quills? Nope....a big crawfish! LRO, bring on the crawfish droppers.

When I was up on Thunderhead last weekend, I saw this one by the trail way up above the creek. The ants were eating it.

The lens kinda fogged up on me but my battery was low so i didn't bother with more pics of a dead crawdad

Crawfish spawn?

I know nothing about crawfish except my dad used to sceine them and use their tails for bait. Is there a crawfish nymph? If not, there should be.
