A buddy of mine, forum member "bhrt",wanted to go looking for some specks on Saturday. We settled on my personal favorite speck stream while in route and had a pretty good day. I had a wedding to get back to so we couldn't stay as late as I'd like to have. My tandem de jour was a Tennessee Wulff and a green weiner.

First (and smallest) fish of the day.

Despite the cool weather the trillium were out.

I was able to get out Friday, but the clouds never broke, and it never really warmed up so fishing was slow. I knew it would be perfect this last weekend and glad you made the best of it.

Is it wrong to be at your twin 2 year old's birthday party, and to wish that you were on the river:confused:

I really like the First dry Brookie:biggrin:

I'll be chasing them on Wedneswday

It was a perfect day, aside from a little bit of wind.

What I didn't realize was as GM77 and I were enjoying the park, my pregnant wife was dodging falling trees back home!

So with all the concern about bears, flash floods and rabid otters, sometimes the most dangerous thing you can do is stay home!

Jason great photos nice specks!....was that a bead head on that green weenie I seen? I'm assuming you tied a few of those and they worked well?

I had never tied or fished a bh weenie. I don't enjoy wrapping the wire so I went the lazy route and liked the results.

We may have to sneak up to a little stream and throw at a few.
