View Full Version : Soho: To go or not to go?

Hey guys, finally getting around to posting on here, been lurking around for awhile. I've got a trip planned for tomorrow with my gal and another friend and wanted to take them to the south holston, I got into some sulfurs hatching a couple weeks ago and want to fish there again really bad.
In yall's opinion would it be worth braving the crowds tomorrow or should I just hit up the park?

They're turning on the water at 11:00 a.m. Unless you have a boat, or would be satisfied with a short day, you might want to go some other time.

Fish the lower end with some squirrel streamers and throw super close to the banks if you see the rising with a caddis dry fly. You should be good to about 4:30pm or so down that way. The area right above Bluff City. The S. Holston Fly Shop will get you in the right spot...

Thanks for the input, I ended up fishing the hiwassee and the tellico, my gf likes it over there. I've never fished the soho down near bluff city, I'l have to head that way next time.
