This was the first trout camp for the Tennessee Council of Trout Unlimited and I feel it was beyond our expectations. I am confident that there will be one on the calendar for next year. I had the opportunity to help on Sam's Creek on Friday, June 24th. I was impressed with the folks who worked with the youngsters and the Institute for their professionalism. Oh, yes, we caught some brookies and returned them so they will grow bigger for next year. ;)

Up in Maine our chapters have done this for many years with great success; and YES these kids do by and large continue fly fishing as adults and give back to the resource we all enjoy.
