If I put in at the bridge, and took out at Jack's place how long of a float is this? How rough of a float is it compared to the Clinch or Holston? That's the only other two rivers I have floated.
And what's a address for Jack's place and dose he still do shuttles? Is his place easy to get out of on high water? If I miss it how far is the next take out? If anyone has a map that would be great. i'm really wantting to do this float.
Thanks in advance Rodney

Rodney,
Jack's Place is just downstream of Hickory Tree bridge isn't it?
I have never floated it, but camped up there a few times when a buddy has floated it on his pontoon. If I remember correctly, it took him about 3 hours from the grates to Hickory Tree with one generator running. Just remember that a large section of that water is off limits beginning November 1st.
BTW, I plan to be up there this Thursday thru Saturday if anybody else will be around.

How big is the section that's closed? Can anyone give me the address to Jack's and his phone number?
