Kudos to Joe Hatton for the revamped chapter web site (http://lrctu.org/) and his willingness to manage it.

Thanks to Roy Hawk, who faithfully maintained the site for many years and to David Ezell for the great job he does with the newsletter (http://lrctu.org/?page_id=122.).

Speaking from experience, this is a time intensive, labor of love.

Yes WOW! Very well done.

Thank you Dave Ezell for E-mailing me the monthly newsletter and keep in me informed even though I am A HOMELESS LIFETIME TU MEMBER who has not yet "transfered" from the Kennebec Chapter in Maine (two golden trout awards).

KUDOS to all of you who work hard on LOCAL TU efforts from all the area chapters... I have served as a chapter president in Maine and worked on so many projects including writing a newsletter for years eventually I got burned out.

I have little faith in TU National but great faith in all the local chapter across our country... it's local folks who really make the big difference...

It's all about protecting, preserving and enhancing what you love; our cold water fisheries.

If you are not a member but enjoy fishing, particularly in the PARK and you are not a member YOU should seriously consider it.

If the LR Chapter has not yet recieved a GOLDEN TROUT AWARD they are overdue!

Sombody needs to kick me in the tail about switching my membership to TN!

Hi All,

Great Job on the website Joe. It looks great and it is filled with information. Corbo, the Little River Chapter did receive the Golden Trout Award and a compelling article about our mission and accomplishments in Trout Magazine. I think we got the award in the mid 1990's but not later than 1997. You need to switch your membership! I'll try to put a smiley face here. Sorry, It's in the wrong place.

Just renewed my membership with the LR Chapter.

Well I glad you re-newed your membership!

I'm dumbfounded by the number of people in this world who don't make a PERSONAL INVESTMENT into what they love.... so I will not "name, names".....

Seems that over the past two years I have visited many of the TN flyshops and asked those who worked there, "Are you a member of TU?" and most often I'm told, "No; but I ought to join". Makes me wonder why I'm spending my money in that shop even if the owner is a member.

Back several months ago, I sent an email to the the LR chapter president asking for the LR address to send a donation to in lieu of my renewal dues to TU national. Never did get an answer. And yes I am still interested in sending LR chapter all the money. TU national, not so much!

Can someone email me (rikwhitefeather@yahoodotcom) the address, please?
