Ive never fished the Holston before but since the clinch river seems to always be running water I want to give it a try. Where is the best place to fish and what flies? Any info helps.

only public access is Nancy ferry give it a shot, wooly buggers, good luck, several good guides on this water might shorten the learning curve. only takes money.

You can walk down from the route 92 bridge & park at the tailwater landing. Wadable down by the quarry but you need to walk the bank to get to it. Watch the TVA schedule.
