After going to the fly fishing film tour at the Relix Theatre in Knoxville, i thought i would share this video with everyone here on the forum. It's a short trailer, but it gets the point across, none the less i think it's a great story. I will add there is some profanity in the video, but if you like big brown trout on dry flies and a great story this video is for you.

Tnstonefly - That's a great video and one that I can truly identify with since I also have PD and love to flyfish more than about anything else . It was great to see him try time and again to hook a fish and not give up, because the disease can be very frustrating when doing things that you used to be able to do easily are much more difficult to do at all. Even making a decent cast is an accomplishment some days. I could go on and on about what it does to limit what you can't do, but it all is worth the effort when you have a "tight line", cause nothing feels as good as having a fish on the end of a 9 ft flyrod.
I've not caught a trout like the oe in the video, but Lord willing, that day will come.

mike, i think were all waiting for the day we catch a trout like that! I hate to hear that about your PD, but like the doc says in the video "it's alright to have a shake as long as you set the hook right." Your an inspiration to all of us who fish, tight lines mike, and your day will come.

Hope I didn't sound like I was feeling sorry for myself when I was talking about PD's effects, cause it could've always been worse like the big C or like a friend of mine who got ALS when he was in his early 40's. I just love to flyfish and want to get better at it.
