Decided that fishing the park was a better idea than going to work. Fishing was slooow until a little after noon. Not my best day fishing but not all of us can snag a 20" brown on a back cast . Ended up with several smallish rainbows and some tired legs. A few photos of the day...

I just like taking pictures of outdoor related stuff...I guess. Thanks for the compliments. BRF - the camera is a Nikon D40.

Ah, another fisherman who carries a Nikon DSLR in the backcountry. Sometimes it is hard to justify the additional 2 lbs, but when reviewing the pics afterward it always makes me glad I took it.

Nice pics BTW, as always!

Nice, I like wildflowers:smile: I can't make myself carry a full sized DSLR though. I fall in too much:frown:

Olympus shooter here but I feel the same way... luckily mine is sealed against the elements so I'm not as nervous bringing it along with me.

Great shots! I need to get back up in the mountains and do some more shooting as well...
