Does anyone know where I can purchase wading boots for a 9 year old? Here in Missouri we can't have felt soles anymore.

At that age; I would just go to Goodwill and buy some used hiking boots. Size them up about 2 sizes so they fit.

Plan "A" call LRO and they will ship directly to your house. Seamless!!!!
I purchased similar boots for same youth this year. Very reasonable and very good quality 6 months on them to date.
Go on line. www.Redington.com
I purchased a good wading jacket at a great cost with Redington as well per advice from Shawn M.

Breck, I think that Redington was someone else's advice:). I proposed Marmot if I can remember correctly. Hate to take someone else's glory...

sorry for the late reply..........but let me add this...........find some #8 sheet metal screws at the big box hardware store........and power drill about 12 screws in each boot. Don't go above 3/8 inch in screw length. Make sure the screws do not penetrate the inside of the boot. This will help with traction and be cost effective, but not entirely slip- proof....hope this helps.............
