10/5 Sam's

Went back to Sam's Creek Today. It was a good day to be out. The fishing seemed slower, but I guess after last Sat, anything was bound to be slower.

I then fished a little on upper Tremont, but after a while I realized that I had been fishing been behind another fisherman...

I watched him hop from rock to rock slowly and stealthily, which was very entertaining

Nice shots of Mr. O, I worked behind him on the upper in August, no camera at the ready so I appreciate these shots. Maybe someone with bird knowledge can answer this question. Do they migrate in winter or stay in our area, I have shared some spots on the Clinch with them this summer, but have not seen them in the last couple weekends. Thanks for the post! :cool:

The Blue Heron does migrate. You'll see them occasionally into October but they're usually gone here in VA/ NC by now.
