12/17/12 - Thunderhead

Took advantage of the warmer and higher water to go fish. Went back to the lower part of thunderhead and caught a couple. I thought middle prong was still a little high for wading and didn't have much time to hike in.

Best fish of the day (and last smoky mountain trout for me for 2012)

Anyway I am down in Texas for the rest of the year so I will probably try some Bass fishing while I am here. If I have any luck, I'll post it! I know there is a also a pond close by they have started stocking the winter trout so maybe I'll try that too (but probably not)

I'm down in Houston. Been to all those other places too. Found a fly fishing forum in the area and they quickly gave a couple of places to check out which was nice! Most people in our sport are real class acts!
