Came Up with a friend this weekend and took lro's intermediate fly tying classes with Walter babb. Walter is a great instructor and has a wonderful knowledge of the flies he is tying. He knows the history of the origin of each fly. I had never tied dries before and this class had me tying good dries in just minutes. Thank you Lro and Walter for your time, patience and offering these classes. Everyone at Lro are first class all the way.

Awesome! Which flies did you learn how to tie?

prince, bead head pheasant tail was the first two we tied but I knew those. then we went to dries and attractors. Stimulator, light cahill and adams parachute. I had never done dries till this class and I was tying good fishable flies in no time. Excellent class well worth the $75 I encourage anyone who wants to learn to tie or just learn a different technique to take this class

Sounds like an awesome class! You should be good to go...
I decided to start tying a couple of years ago because I was flying through the parachute adams female and do I decided to try to tie that. So tied until I had over 100. Now I think I won't ever run out so I moved on To others. I need to get going on some others this winter. Maybe I will try my hand at posting a how to pictorial tutorial just for fun. I am jealous of what you learned through this class though!
