Arrived too early. Was tired by the time fish started becoming really active. Seems like they really started rising around 3:00 or so. I got three on and two to hand.

Very nice! That's some challenging water any day of the year. Glad you managed to fool some...

Yeah, I was suprised that I didn't get one rise in the slower water...not even a little brown. It was fun to get out for sure.

It was an ok day. I actually "misspoke." I got four on and three to hand. Two of them were fingerlings about 4 inches long. If I had caught two more the size of the one pictured it would have been a good day. Still, you can beat a day of fishing in January.

Wow, that is great to see fish rising to anything in the winter. Can't wait til Spring!

Hey thats a tough section to fish, especially in the winter. Those fish have plenty of time to go over a fly with a fine toothed comb. Good job. If you can catch fish there you can catch them anywhere.

Jed, yes it was. I should be more thankful. I just hate it that I missed that other big fish!
Lynn, Thank you my friend. I sure have learned a lot over the last few years. Probably still have a long way to go.
