I only had about an hour and a half to fish so I only got one. A nice little brown. More pics on my blog with some spring safety tips.

Beautiful Brown:smile:

Looks like a great day to be out there, makes me wish I wasn't stuck at home this weekend:rolleyes:

Do you think bear spray will be an adequate defense against an attacking otter, or do I need the Sig Sauer? Just want to be properly prepared;)

You need some "under water" bear spray (for $50 I'll send you a can). I ran into a pack of otters over on the Gatlinburg side...they looked shifty. Seriously though, I have heard of them biting wading fishermen on tailwaters. Probably much less of a worry than copperheads.

I worry the otters and copperheads will team up and form a gang

Once there was a guy that tried to pick up an otter and it kicked him in his chest and he died...it happened...dead.

Poor little Otters! I think they're right cute.

Absolutely Adorable:biggrin: I think these attacks might be linked with people trying to snuggle with them;)

They are viscious beasts, with great pointed teeth.

Might need a holy hand grenade
