For those who have been in the park lately, how are the water temps? I'll be arriving Wed. night and plan to fish at least one day up in the park and wondering if the water temps are still suitable for wet wading? Thanks.

My guess is yes, but really, I look at the AIR temp as a better indicator for when I will actually use waders. But I spend so little time 'wading' and am only touching the water when I am moving upstream, not a stand in the middle of the river and cast in the park kind of guy... so you may get a different opinion depending on you fishing style. For me, wetwading is nearly a year round thing.

Wet wading is tolerable but not for much longer. I enjoying wet wading it's more comfortable than waders. Once you get over that first chill you can do it.

Water is already a chilly 61 degrees in Townsend. Borderline for me.

Went yesterday in VA. No problem, not even chilly. Agree with the post that air temp has a LOT to do with it. May be too cool this weekend for it.
