Caught this guy just before thanksgiving. You can defintely see the rigors of the spawn has on the fish. He was a twenty inch or so fish. Almost felt bad about catching him. He put up a good fight but was ready to go back to his spot. Thought I would share since there's not much going on these days since winter has its claws in us.

Very pretty fish. I seem to like when browns have less spots. Adds character. Every now and then in the park I'll also catch a bow or 2 with hardly any spots.

Nice fish, couple weeks of high water, a few sculpins, some dace, and a few crawfish and he'll be ready for round 2.

Wow, nice fish! I'm always amazed at the size of some of the browns that come out of the GSMNP. It could pass for a lake run brown.

I think he was just starting to come out of the post spawn funk and thinking of putting some weight back on. Ran a couple of larger flies by him and he was having none of it. He took a dead drifted nymph.

Nice fish. Hopefully it's fat and sassy by now!
