Hello to everyone,

Just writing to introduce myself. I will be heading down that way at the end of February for my first fly fishing trip to the smokies. Any advice wold be fantastic. We are planning to stay in the park and to fish Abrams and the Little River. Love the site.

Cincinnati Kid, Welcome to the board and thanks for the comments. You will enjoy fly fishing here in the Smokies. The end of February can be fantastic with quill gordon hatches and other bugs if the water temperature is right. However everything depends on the weather. Keep an eye on that and post on the board prior to your trip. Also, we will report all fishing conditions in our Fishing Report on the site. Byron
