I cant wait to pull it up to the GSM to do some fishing and camping in the park!!
Does anyone else do some camper camping in the park?

Hello Bamafly,
That's a nice looking little camper :) As I continue to get older, I may have to consider getting something like that, and give up tent camping except when I go into more remote areas. I am getting anxious to head to the smokies myself, plan on heading that way on April 28th. I have a couple of new fly rods that I am building that I wanna try out in the Park. Catch a few for me till I get there ;D

I am thinking about buying a pop up camper; getting a little old for the tent camping. Did you consider a pop up? I would be interested in any research you've done.

hey Chris,
I have looked at pop-ups. There are several reasons to get both I guess. It may just be personal preference.
I bought a lightweight fiberglass camper that will last me 30 years.
Scamp has been making these same campers forever. You still see 1970' Scamps & 1980's Scamps all the time and when folks sell them they are still bringing in a great value.

hey Neal,
I think we are headed up the GSMNP on the weekend of the 28th. We are out of school on the 28th so I think we are headed up on the 27th after school lets out.
I think we may stay in elkmont.
