Caney Fork pictures

I made it down to the Caney Fork today and the fishing was good. Some of the holdover rainbows are really filling out nicely. Most of the fish today wanted a zebra midge in various color combinations. Here are a couple of rainbows I caught...

The suprise of the day was when I hooked and landed this nice LM on a #20 zebra midge :)

Nice fish. I miss fishing the Caney. It's probably been 15 years. I used to fish there almost every week.

Nice job, the Caney has been good the past few days. I'm sitting here in a thunderstorm wishing i was there now, hopefully we won't get a lot of rain & get the generators turned back on :(

Hey David, nice pictures. Like Grumpy says, the Caney has been fising pretty well recently. One of our buds says the trout have been having to dine on fast food during all the heavy generation, so now with a decent window or two, they've been happy to have a buffet style menu to select from. And, everything on the menu seems to have been just what they wanted.
