Hello Newb here

Just wanted to say hi. I am new to this forum and new to fly fishing.

I grew up and still live in this area but have bass fished my entire life but I am now trying fly fishing and so far love it. I started this year after telling everyone in my family if they wanted to get me something for Christmas to get me Fly fishing stuff. I look the part but not very good at it yet. I hope I get to go more often but hard to find time.

Everytime I have stopped in to pick up flies or anything everyone is very helpful and more than willing to help.

I really enjoy reading the fishing report and this site is great.

Sounds like you are making a good start in the sport..(training family members to get fishing gifts rulz! *;)) * *Also, as Stan Smartt once said (and I now say frequently...because it is too perfect) "The single most important thing in fly fishing is looking good!" * ;D
