Tellico River Info.

I saw a nice write up in the American Angler about the fall run of fishing on the Tellico for big browns. I know that sometimes these articles can be a little light on real info.

Has anyone else seen it? Is it accurate?

I am intrigued because I have gone to MT. to fish the brown trout run on the Madison. I really enjoyed it and this sounds very much like it. Its also a lot closer.

If you have any info. I would be grateful.

I will probably not be able to come down this fall..................My 1st baby is due in October. I was wondering what the fishing is like in Jan./Feb.

TWO FAIR AREAS TO FISH OTHER THAN THE TELLICO PROPER ARE THE NORTH RIVER. START AT THE MOUTH AND FISH UP TOWARDS THE CAMPGROUND, ANOTHER PLACE IS TO GO UP STREAM AND OVER TO THE BALD RIVER CAMPGROUND AND WALK DOWNSTREAM SOME AND FISH. ON WEEKDAYS YOU MAY NEVER SEE ANYONE AFTER MID SEPTEMBER. BE CAREFULL
