I am headed to GSM this week for some fly fishing and was curious how the sudden change in temperature might effect the trout behavior? Do you think the fish feed more voraciously before or after the front comes through? I have heard from a couple of folks that fishing is really good before cold fronts come through because the change in pressure triggers the fish to feed but after the front hits fish get lockjaw for a couple of days. Just curious as to other folks opinions on this topic.

My personal theory goes like this;
Fish feed more actively when a front is moving through because they think the end of the world is coming.
Fish also feed more actively when it is beginning to rain because more bugs are being knocked into the water and because they think the end of the world is coming.
fish quit feeding after a good rain or a front moves through because their bellies are full and the world didn't come to an end.
My theory is a good one because i've never had a fish tell me i was wrong. ;D
