happy halloween Everyone :). I know that tonight in Nashville will be rainy but not in the Smokeys. This is a kind of fun halloween post ;D. Do you belive that fishing in the rain on Halloween is bad luck! Let's see how many of you are superstishus ;) (sorry about the spelling) I know a few guys that say it's true because they did it once and said that not only did they catch no fish, nature attacked them. This is just for fun, I want to here what you think. So how many of you belive in this ;D (I do a little) ::)
have FUN! ;D

I prefer to think of my fly fishing idiosyncrasies as paranoia rather than superstition... :D Like...you nevah, evah wear your trout bracelet when fishing for another species....it causes a cross species jinx. :o
Happy Halloween! btw...no papering any houses for you tonight, young man!
I'm not trying to kiss up or anything but I always wear my LRO t-shirt when i'm fishing in the Smokies. It is just about to fall apart, has a bunch of holes in it, smells really bad even after I was it, but i'll continue to wear it. My figuring is that the fish will attack my fly more if they think it came from LRO. Or maybe its just that they smell me coming and think I'm stink bait :o

Hey, your right ttas67 those cabins are spooky even in the day time, plus I like reading Smoky Mountain Ghost storys and they are pretty spooky. I even herd a story of a ghost that stays by a river. I don't know which one. They say he died on a bridge not far off and is herd at night by fisherman calling and moaning :o yeah I would watch for him if I was fishing a river by a bridge.
