Here are some new photos of my gheenoe which I had change the color from a light tan to a dark green. I really didn't like the tan color, so I had my guys at work wrap it in a special vinyl that we use for vehicles.

so do you put a motor on that? anytime you need someone to help you fish in it, let me know.

oh yes, 55 lb thrust... enough to get down and back with no problems

I am always looking for people to go... I spent last week 3 or 4 times on the elk by myself fishing.

What is that black stuff covering the bottom? Nice boat BTW.

I'll have to keep my eyes open for you and the boat, I live in Kelso, just a stones throw from Dickey Island.

A friend of mine is running a 25 HP Mercury jet on his Gheenoe, SWEET.
I happen to know where a nice 9.9 is for sale, in case of generation 8-)

Kriscad,

Best looking Gheenoe I've seen. Is that 10 year vinyl?

Grumpy,

With a 25 hp on one of those don't you get "skeert" when you ride in it full blast?
Also, did your wife give you that name?

Byron

no worries mon, lot's of weight up there with me in the front & the jet cut's some of HP out, it will run around 21 MPH with 2 in it, just right on a hot day & to fast on a cold one :o
Some friends gave me that nickname, of course my wife says,"sometimes i wakeup grumpy, other times i let him sleep" :-[

Haven't seen one of these before, looks like a sweet way to get around. Slap a 100 HP Johnson on the back of that dude (hang on) and you'll be ready for water skiing. Watch out or rocks.
