Terrible place to fish! That's why they are closing it....

Well maybe not... Lynn Camp is awesome. I'll be home April 20th and it will be closed after that :)

Why are they closing lynn camp? Also, what part of lynn camp prong is best to fish at?

All of it!!!;) Seriously, this is one stream where you can start fishing without hiking and still catch plenty of fish... Of course, hiking is fun too...

I'll have to agree with redc4man though, it really is a terrible stream.

They're closing it next year, to restore the brook trout population. It will, according to Byron, be closed for 5 or 6 years. While I'm excited about "the natives" being restored, from a purely selfish point of view, I'll miss it - that area is the closest point in the park to me, driving up from Louisiana - almost a direct shot from the house.
