Just returned from a few days in the creeks...I want to thank the Staff at Little River Outfitters, and all of you who post here on a regular basis.
As a result of your service, kindness, and shared knowledge...my first fly fishing trip to the Smokies was HUGE.
6 'Bows, a good size Brown, and 2 Brookies(one of which Flew! caught on a pick-up and backcast:eek: ), (Greenbriar, Elkmont, Metcalf) All on 16-18 Caddis.
BTW!!! Snakes...Snakes...Snakes (yes that's three in the water and under the banks at Metcalf) seemed strange to me considering water temp.
Also my thanks to a nice Bamboo wielding Gentleman (from Huntsville) at Metcalf Friday...who graciously gave me some wisdom, and a spot in the creek!
