Suggestions Please

I have not been fly fishing in warm water long and would like some suggestions. I live in Maryville and usually finish up with work around 4:30. Where are some of the places I can fish from a small boat (gheenoe) that is powered by a trolling motor and not have to get to far away from a ramp? I don't mind what I catch. Hopefully the distance thing will become less of an issue if I can ever find a motor I'm willing to pay for. Thanks for any advice.

You might try the pool in Little River above Perry's Mill on highway 321. There is a decent ramp and you could motor upstream and drift back down. Great Smallmouth water. You could also launch at Chilhowee Lake near the mouth of Abrams Creek. Take the Foothills Parkway to the lake off Highway 321. You would be closer fishing in the Little River above the dam.
