Hey, Everybody -- I'm new here but have enjoyed shopping with the fine folks at Little River Outfitters for many years. Several seasons back Daniel sold me what has become my favorite flyrod, a medium-action Winston 4wt., and he did a great job of not laughing when I cast with it in front of the (old) store! Now my 10-year-old looks forward to Smokies trips and a chance to visit with Dubbing, the official LRO spokescat.
I'm a middling flyfisher with a "relaxed" casting style that started with Joan Wulff's book on the subject, was influenced by a helpful California flyshop manager, and finally went wild after Lefty's book on long casting gave me permission to ignore 10 and 2 o'clock. After that I discovered the wonderful world of small streams in the Smokies and gave up casting altogether! Well, almost.
We're planning a Smokies trip shortly and I'm planning to post some questions about Bradley Fork. Glad to be here! --Buddy
