Camp Fires???

Are there currently any restrictions on camp fires in the main camping areas because of the drought? I am camping at the main Cades Cove Campground on Friday and Saturday and need to know how I'm cooking my meals.

We can't have camp fires at our state parks here in Alabama, so I wanted to make sure of their status in GSMNP.

Hey Rlockwood,

Heading out thursday morning for a back country trip. Called last week and yesterday and the ranger stated that there are no FC or BC fire restrictions. Have a great trip!!!
