seems like i tear up more zingers or they fall apart etc.--what is the best,longest lastin zinger made

i have a simple orvis zinger and it's still working great after about 4 years.

Try something besides the pin on a reel type. Like the Fishpond, C&F, or Simms retractors.

I used the Orvis clip on where I worked for years to hold my badge and key card. I had to swipe to enter and exit all doors on average of 75 times a day. The zingers would last about a year in a moist industrial environment. Others I tried failed within a short period of time

I have an old Orvis pin-on zinger that has the steel cable (like a wire leader) that I know is over 20 years old. Still works great.
