Well... I went fishing for a few hours this morning. My first thought was Lynn Camp, but the water looked so good at the Institute I stopped. It proved to be a false alarm even though the temp was 65-66 @ 0800. Nothing but shiners were hitting down low, so I moved up to the second one lane bridge and started getting some action. I probably ended up with about 10, maybe less, whatever... It was awesome to be back in the water! I should have went to Lynn Camp. I caught about 50-50 Dry to Nymph. The dry was one of those yellow foam things #16, the Nymph was a relatively new concoction I came up with that has produced really well for me. I used it on the SoHo and Watuga with ttas & Plateau. Lets just say it was on fire that day. And I've used it with good success in the park. It's really pretty basic /yellow body #16 with some hurl, and a few other add-ons ;) / Here are some pics...

I'd like to fish some tailwater this weekend. if they'll turn the water off, the clinch should be good. call me if you want to set something up.

Hey! Kevin, I'm thinking the HI if the water temp and generators would cooperate. It seems like the HI has been the coldest in years this year. They got a reading of 53 degrees as recently as July 7. Let me know if you are interested? I'm going early Sat for an all day affair if everything clicks.

Guys... I'm golfing tomorrow, but would be interested in hitting a tailwater Sunday.
Gerry... The salamander is actually tied with silk using the technique from woven green weenies :)

Trevor & Hans... The generation schedule doesn't look favorable for the HI or the Clinch. Any ideas? Abrams? Lynn Camp? SoHo? Other?

I'd be up for the soho
