Drift Trip

A friend and I are trying to plan a 2 day float this weekend. I want to get into some fish, but my buddy really digs the rafting aspect of it. What are your suggestions?

The HI will give you lots of fish and some fun rapids. Weekends though, will be crowded on the river.

I would have to choose either of these two streams. The fish are beautiful, plentiful, and willing to eat. Also the chances of hooking into a trophy is somewhat elevated. My third choice would probably be the Hiwassee, but the funyakers will run you off the water during the mid-day.

I need as much info as I can get. My friend is moving next month and this will probably be his last trip for awhile in East TN.
