I am looking for recipes to tie 6 different MUST HAVE flies (when on a tight budget) for fishing inside the park. Please include hook sizes. I appreciate your help.

The fly I had the most success with was the greenie weenie size 14, with a little split shot above it. I got a grand slam(brook, brown, bow) in one day with a greenie weenie and my brother and dad got a grand slam in the week we were there. They also had success with the greenie weenie. It has to be one of the easiest and cheapest fly patterns out there. The pattern imitates an inch worm and all other sorts of insects if the color is changed.
Good Luck

Depends on the time of year you are going to be fishing.

A peacock herl body with a black bird twist with weight on a # 6 hook, works well if the water is up and stained.
Male Adams,#12, #14 Hooks (dry)
Black Stone flies, #6,#8 with weight
Hares Ear Nymph,#8,#10
Green Weenie any size
Hope these patterns help...

ants--zebra midge#20--use the midge head on -or as dropper--bead head--ants should be cast-and hope the fish think they are chocolate covered----------
