Well, how many of you football fans are going to sleep in tomorrow so I can get the streams to myself? He He. Well, I'm thinking up high should be doable again after our rain this week. we'll see I guess.

There was a post earlier today about the West Prong - it seems like it has recovered from what I saw last weekend. Watching the radar this week, it looked like the middle of the park got a fair amount of rain. If the mountains keep picking up the showers every few days, things will be fine. Long term, we need a wet winter to start the process of building up the water table.
Wish I could go "up high" tomorrow...hoping to sneak in a trip in October - Fall at its peak is the one time of year I haven't sampled yet in the park.
Football didn't keep people away Hans, it was the dove hunting!!!! Sitting in a field and shooting 100 times in an hour is too much fun.

Russ, Where have you been? I never did hear from you back in the spring. Have you been fishing any? I did okay on Elkmont Sunday.
I'm still around but I've been at work. I haven't been fishing in a few months.
