River Ridge campground Closing?

Heard a rumor that the campground was sold to developers. Any truth to this? What are the plans for the site? This would be a terrible loss to the area fly fishermen.

Rumor has it was sold to somebody from Alabama......

Gonna eventually build a Lodge of some sort.....

Campground is closed and won't reopen anytime soon, if it does at all, due to insurance reasons.....

I really hated to hear this. I have had several nice campouts along that stretch of river and shared a many of good time with some friends around a ring of fire.

Would have loved to have heard about this earlier. Would have liked to have gotten in one last trip to the ole place.
