View Full Version : Suggestions on Fishing Abrams (11/9)

Im new to this board and have never posted and also never fished much in the park........wanting to fish on friday and will probably fish Abrams Creek in Cades Cove......

I will be spin fishing so are there any suggestions on what to use??
Also, where are good places to fish besides the horseshoe??

And are there any good spots along the road to fish little river between gatlinburg and cades cove??

There is great access about anywhere from the trail head down about 1/2-1 mile.

Rooster tails would probably be a good choice. But i remember every bait u use has to be single and artificial.

If I was fishing a spinner outfit I would try a trout magnet...small split tail green grub....or a PT or tellico nymph.....put a small split shot about 12-18" above the hook and cast it up and across the runs and let it run with the current....
