I'm new to the board and to fly fishing. Been tossing my UL for years but decided to give the long pole a try. So far so good. The family and I were up in Townsend last weekend and I ventured into Little River Outfitters, loved the store! We've got a few around the house but not with this selection.
I managed to get the crap scared out of me by 4 very large otters on the Middle Prong last Tuesday morning but I also managed to hook 2 nice browns while in the area. Hey, even got some very good pics of a nice 8 point over in Cades Cove along with some very memorable views (got them posted over at NGTO http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/forum/showthread.php?p=466169#post466169 (http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/forum/showthread.php?p=466169#post466169) ). Anyway, I'm back to fishing the DH here on the 'hooch but looking forward to heading back to the GSMNP. We’re already go reservations booked on the other side of the mountains next spring (camping in the outskirts of Cherokee, NC). Until then, tight lines :biggrin:
