Didymo in the Clinch

Well they have identified Didymo in the Cumberland river in Kentucky.

My question from all of your experience with didymo in the Clinch What is in the future for us and is there anything we can do to stop the spread in the Cumberland river.

I am well aware of good cleaning, but I expect less than 10% will take the time.

Any thoughts??

This doesn't answer your question, but it's another question:

Does didymo die in the fall/winter? I fished the clinch a few times in the past month, and I wasn't really paying attention, but now that I think about it, I don't even remember seeing any didymo there. certainly not like it was this summer.
