Nice fish! That old brown looks like he has seen it all in his life. How long was that guy? You didn't say where you were fishing.....?
Maybe the Tuck?
Happy New Year,

That big brown was around 22-23 inches based on comparison to my fly rod. I couldn't find the tape measure easily and didn't want to keep it out of the water long enough to find it. The river is the SoHo...

Congrats on a couple of nice browns!

BTW...What's that logo on your hat?

What did that big boy take? Streamer?

Man, that is some fish. I have got to try the SoHo this year.

I will say that particular hat is what did the trick for him! That's funny, I'm glad I'm not the only one who looks at the whole picture! I'm not strange after all! Thanks for confirming that Dog...We gotta get a day on the water together!

Oh, and Byron it was the angler, I tried some of the flies he had bought from you all and wasn't having any luck! Fish catching machine!

That hat has been my fishing hat for years...lots of good memories in that thing... Hopefully I've built up a lot of good luck in it also...

Steve, I caught good fish on copper johns, midges, and junk (eggs ).

It's certainly not the first time I've seen that hat.

Brett, I'm hoping to make it up to E-Tn more this year. We'll go one of these days. Let me know if you want to fish the Caney.

Hello to all,

David, nice fish. I mentioned your great day in the Fishing Report but I promise I never told anyone, as I promised you, that you were in here buying egg patterns. But, since you were so honest I have an even greater admiration for you. And again, it's not the fly, it's the angler.

Byron, I was afraid someone was going to ask... It took awhile though so I started thinking that I might get away with it...
