Brett, if I had a good boat for float fishing I would be there for sure...as it is, I may try to float this weekend in my canoe with a couple other people. Have you bought a boat yet? If so, this might be a good time to try the Caney...

Uh, well I kind of have access to a boat, who knows more about the shad? I've got Monday off. Brett, aren't you running a temp, you may have to call in sick at work.

Wish I knew more about the shad and wish I had Monday off...I'd trade some info for a boat ride... Anyway, if you are able to head over that way, I'd have plenty of white streamers ready to go. If I remember correctly, Grumpy had a guy in his boat that landed a brown of around 15 lbs or so. I was there a little after the "main" event. There were still a few shad coming through and all the fish I caught were shaped like footballs...

Caugh, caugh, caugh! That's really not funny, my daughter is sick again with this chicken flu crap that's going around! I'm really also feeling under the weather! My arm still works though:cool: !
