My son and I are just now fisnishing up our plans to fish Yellowstone in July. We'll be ther July 6 through July 14th maybe longer if we can swing it. We have our motel reservations set through the 14th and will be seeing if we can extend it a day or two.
We're very excited and looking forward to this. He'll be 13 by then and it will be just the two of us. Mom is staying home for the week so it's going to be a "guys fishing week". We're going to be staying in West Yellowstone.
I've been talking with Blue Ribbon Flyshop about getting a guide for our first full day of fishing (anyone work with that shop, on some other boards they have a good rep, but have any of you all worked with them or have other recommendations for a guide out of West Yellowstone)?
I just had to share this with you all. It's a gray, cool rainy day here in my neck of the woods and spending time in the Yellowstone country fishing with my son is just what it took to brighten up the day.
