Went down to the Hi with my friend pineman today. Extremely cold water. 44 to 48 degrees. We saw some Quill Gordons possibly at Quinn Springs. I managed to catch a 7 inch Bow. We need some warm nights before anything is going to happen.

It was extremely warm on the seat of my John Deere tractor yesterday, i got to take a break & go haul some hay & stack it in the barn all the while wishing i was fishing.
The HI can be a fun place to be in the spring, come on spring.

I used to go much more to the HI when gas was a lot less. I do however like it in the spring. We are planning a FFF outing March 29th. I'm hoping for Little Black Caddis by then.

Depending on where on the river your at....You could get into some grannoms around the end of March. Maybe even a few early hendricksons if the weathers right.
