Spring is here.....in my book anyway.
The first guide trip of March is what I consider the spring kickoff.
Anyway, we hit the water Saturday morning. TVA had just turned off a 2 turbine push and we decided to try some light streamers while the water was still up.
We were hoping to find a few large rainbows before the water fell out.....well this guy here was our first fish to the boat.

25.5 inch hybrid. Weighed in at 8.5 lbs. Caught it on a 6wt, 4x fluoro and #6 Conehead Booger.
The trout fishing was pretty good too. However, it was hard for our best landed trout (17" Bow) to compete with the big hybrid.
Most of our trout were landed on small midges.
