Townsend in the a.m.

On my way up to the Smokies to fish on Friday, 08/22, I couldn't pass up taking this picture from across the road from LRO back into the sunrise over the mountains. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did at the moment.

Anybody still wonder why Byron is as happy as a pig in slop??

PS ... shouldn't "whopper dandy" be hyphenated?? like Whopper-dandy??

nvr2L8 08-25-2008 10:09 PM

Looks hyphenated to me. Are your eyes failing, Gerry? Hit your head in that fall a couple of weeks ago?

Thanks for the suggestion. I feel much more correct and I'm sure Fly Girl Betty Jo would approve.

Didn't hit my head but Bourbon does funny things to one's eyesight!!

I had a smart alecky (is that a word?) comment, but I decided to keep my trap shut and live another day, LOL.

I like the picture! Byron isn't out of the mountains until too late anyway to see anything like that!

Gerry Romer 08-26-2008 04:43 PM

Hey, I happen to like chopped liver...

Now, Paula, even a blind man can see that you're the icing on his cake!!

;)

Gerry,
Just so you know, it really wasn't the bump on the head or the bourbon; the hyphen went in after your suggestion.

Like syrup on his pancakes. With a little butter on the side.
