sluicing on the clinch
 

TVA will be sluicing on the clinch all day. The website lists tbe discharge as only 420 cfs. Is this safe to wade? Considering that a normal generator (or two) is somewhere over 3000 cfs, it seems that 420 would be a very minor flow.

any info appreciated.

The current schedule on this website does not show any sluicing today. I might have mis-read it though.

I don't think I would get directly behind Norris but should be more than safe downsteam. It should turn the fish ON

Just got back, and it is no different then if it was normally off, maybe up high it is, but down low it is easily waded.

We tried up at the Horse Trailers above the weir and it was pretty high even for my frame.

We then jumped in the trucks and headed downstream. Great fishing even during high pressure system. Fish were regularly working midges and micro caddis. Fun seeing the river this way for so long.
